During a guitar lesson with a teenage pupil, we were talking about music and bands, he said “it must have been amazing, growing up in the ‘70s”. He was absolutely right, it was! Living through a time when Zeppelin, The Clash, Queen, The Beatles, The Stones (oh yea, they’re still going) and many many other amazing and influential bands were current, touring and recording, was truly incredible. Even though we did not realise it at the time. Having that era as a formative musical start in life, was fabulous. Add to that the mix of diverse material that has and is still emerging, what’s not to like! I feel that there is a little piece of all the great stuff I’ve heard and seen, in the music I am making today.

EVENTUALLY! After years of performing as part of a band or a side man, and loving it. I have produced an album of all self written songs, with a couple of instrumentals, Appletree Hammock.
